Dette innlegget vil være på engelsk, da min venn Lærke som har "tagget" meg har laget tagen på engelsk.
So, my Danish friend Lærke who is an exchange student in Las Vegas, Nevada did an exchangestudent tag, and taged me in it. I thought answering it might be fun, so here we go. (This is also a horrible change for me to write some english..)
What is your name, age, nationality and company?
- My name is Ingeborg Hansen, I am 17 years old, born in Norway, which makes me Norwegian and I'm traveling with EF (Education First).
Where are you living your exchange year?
- I am spending my exchange year in Phoenix, Arizona.
Why did you decide to be an exchange student?
- I always wanted to do a year abroad. I mean, you hear about it in magazines, from older kids, even parents, and it seemed like such a fun experience. I wanted to see how the American everyday life looks like, not just the life you see on TV, because they are different. I wanted to experience a new culture, learn a new language in a new way and challenge myself.
What did you think when you first stepped out of the plane?
- I think my first though was something like "Oh my gosh it is so hot!"
What is the weirdest thing you have tasted so far?
- That is a very good question. I have to say that fried cheese (not like mozzarella sticks) and fried ice cream have to top the list though! And root bear, it is so horrible!
Have you done anything so far that you never thought was possible?
- wearing Uggs and scarfs in 18 degrees celsius but still being able to wear shorts in november if I want to is crazy to me. I have also impressed my self with how patient I have been and how much I have grown as a person.
What has been the biggest challenge so far?
- Maybe being forced to stand on your own feet without my mom always having my back. Not that my mom doesn't, but she is too far away to help out sometimes. Adapting to a new country, a new culture, new traditions, rules, norms etc. It is all very different but at the same time similar.
How do you like the school in your host country?
- I had my doubts about my school, but I like it more and more. That is because I'm getting to know the students more and more, but if that is what it takes, then thats a good thing right.
How do people dress in your host country (in your opinion)?
- Some people dress horrible, but others are actually quite good with their 'styling'. This is a manner of opinion of course, but like I can't stand cowboy boots or having tennis socks up to your knees, but maybe they can't stand what I'm wearing. I mean we come from two different parts of the world, me and the people I'm surrounded by, so of course that will lead to different preferences.
If your exchange year was a song, what would it be?
- That is a tough one! I'm gonna go with "moments like this" by the Afters.
How do you imagine the day you are going home?
- LONG. Haha, I'll probably be soo tired, but probably happy too. I mean I'll probably have some mixed feelings, but I think I'll be glad to be home in my own little country.
Who would you like to do this tag?

- ANYONE who is an exchangestudent, with a blog and who reads this.

Ingeborg Linnéa

Hei!
